Tyvek® 500 HP Harness Protection Coverall | Type 5-B/6-B | White

The DuPont™ Tyvek® 500 HP (Harness Protection) is a white hooded coverall designed to be worn over a full-body harness, protecting both the wearer and the harness from external contamination. The patent-pending design gives access to the harness through four elasticated D-Ring sleeves attached to the garment, one at the front, one at the back and one on each side, with an off-centred zip entry to accommodate the front D-Ring connection. Tyvek® 500 is made from flash spun high density polyethylene, permeable to air and water vapour yet repelling water-based liquids and aerosols, with an excellent barrier against fine particles and fibres. Low-linting and antistatically treated on both sides. Silicone non-added.

Dynamic Fall Test

• Tested with an articulated mannequin at an independent testing laboratory and at a harness manufacturer. The conclusion was that the Tyvek® 500 HP garment does not affect the dynamic fall test performance of the full-body harness worn underneath it, and does not impair the proper function of the harness in the event of a fall
