Sundström SR 500 EX | Powered Air Fan Unit | ATEX

The Sundström SR 500 EX, ordering number H06-2012, is an explosion-proof battery-powered fan specially adapted for use in an explosive atmosphere. Together with filters and an approved head top it forms part of the Sundström fan-assisted respiratory protective devices. The fan is fitted with filters and the filtered air is supplied through a breathing hose to the head top, which is then pressurised to prevent surrounding pollutants from being admitted. It can be used as an alternative to filter respirators in any situation where a filter respirator is recommended, and is particularly suited to work that is intensive, hot or of long duration.
